Community Junction is a community organization based in Hennepin County, Minnesota focused on the intersections of housing, health, and well-being. To further their work assisting people with housing stability, this fall they will become the newest organization to partner with Heading Home Corps! Why did the turtle cross the road?

Actually, she doesn’t have to! Thanks to a collaboration between half a dozen local and state partners, there’s a tunnel beneath state Route 4 allowing turtles and other wildlife safe passage. Climate Impact Corps member Hannah has built an interactive website to teach the public about why it makes such a difference.

Serving in Summer Impact provided Debra the perfect mix of hands-on experience working with young students and the deep satisfaction of making a difference in their lives. “I loved every second of it. I've never felt so appreciated.”

We are thrilled to announce that The Cummins Foundation has awarded Ampact a grant of nearly half a million dollars to expand our educational programs in Georgia and Minnesota! The grant totals $450,000 and will fund 45 new Math Corps tutors covering ages kindergarten through 8th grade.

As a Housing Stability Fellow in the summer of 2023, Scarlett gave back to her community by helping others utilize vital housing services.
