Recovery Corps

Recovery Corps helps make a life in recovery possible for more people. AmeriCorps members use their lived experience in recovery to serve as Recovery Navigators, offering mentoring, peer support, and resource navigation. Members serving as Recovery Project Coordinators strengthen recovery organizations by driving community engagement, managing projects, mobilizing volunteers, collecting data, and supporting workforce development.

Together, these roles help expand the capacity of recovery organizations and support more people on their recovery journeys.

AmeriCorps members serving as Public Health Project Coordinators address community needs while expanding public health capacity. Members of Public Health Corps play a critical role in advancing health initiatives, responding to emerging challenges, and building the next generation of public health leaders.
