Legal Services Navigator, Veronica, looks back on her year of service helping immigrants and refugees adapt to live in Minnesota.

“Helping someone in need is my passion; that’s the heart of it,” says Priscilla, a domestic abuse survivor and Housing Resource Navigator. She's about to start her third year with Heading Home Corps and is excited to support others through her advocacy. 

Resettlement Corps member, Debisa has used his language skills and teaching background to communicate with new Minnesota residents, helping them adjust to life in America and integrate into the community.

In just one year, Ethan graduated college, served in Public Health Corps , and landed a full-time position in his county’s public health department!

Community Junction is a community organization based in Hennepin County, Minnesota focused on the intersections of housing, health, and well-being. To further their work assisting people with housing stability, this fall they will become the newest organization to partner with Heading Home Corps!
