Liz Thompson

Executive Director of Illinois Programs

Liz Thompson joined Ampact as the Executive Director of Illinois programs in 2024. Thompson joins Recovery Corps with over 14 years of experience in health education, counseling, and social services. Notably, she’s served as the director of public health at Howard Brown Health and most recently as the Director of Grants Administration for Community Health Innovation at Malcolm X College, both in Chicago. Thompson received her Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago where she focused on community health sciences and research methods. She is excited to join an organization that is proven to make a positive impact.
