Linda Gilligan
Board Member
Linda Gilligan has been an accounting instructor at St. Cloud State University for seven years. Prior to that she served as Senior Vice President and General Auditor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and held a variety of leadership roles in operations and bank regulation. Ms. Gilligan holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a BBA from Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas.
Ms. Gilligan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and through the Institute of Internal Auditors is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). She also holds two leadership coaching certifications from Intentional Leadership and TypeCoach Pro.
Professional activities include membership in the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the CFA Institute and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Ms. Gilligan is a board member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Twin Cities Chapter.
Community engagement activities include serving as a board member of ServeMN, the community organization administering AmeriCorps programs for the State of Minnesota, and a member of the Normandale Community College Business Advisory Committee.
Ms. Gilligan lives in a Twin Cities suburb with her husband Tom and cat Moose. She is the parent of 4 adult children, the youngest of whom is a college senior. Besides teaching and community service, she enjoys golf, pickle ball, year-round gardening, and family activities.
